"Dime-a-Day Tub" (formerly "Two-Cents-A-Meal")
This hunger program was started by Presbyterian Women in 1976 to involve individuals and families in a corporate response to world hunger. This program is a small first step in the battle against hunger and poverty.
We invite every member— of all ages— to contribute a few cents at every meal. Once a month on the third Sunday, members bring their collection boxes to worship and place them in the small shopping cart.
