Sacred Signposts (Adults) Join Pastor Dave in an engaging study of five sacred signposts that still have meaning in our post-Christian world: word, water, meal, confession and praise. Drawing on the thoughts of Rev. Benjamin Dueholm’s book of the same name, we will take a closer look at what these signposts are in our day and why they continue to have meaning. (Fellowship Center)
Universal Salvation or Evangelical Universalism (Adults) Will every person be saved? This is not an all-paths-lead-to-God concept. We will jump into this controversial topic showing that it was an orthodox position of the early church fathers in the first 5 centuries. Some of this will be based on the book The Inescapable Love of God by Thomas Talbot. Joe Fasl will lead this 4 week course (Oct 20, 27, Nov 5, 10). (Office Conference Room)
Catalyst (Grades 6-12) Students are invited to join our youth leader, Ashley Neufeld, each Sunday morning for great conversations about faith. How do our decisions and actions impact others and our relationships with God? Come hear about how we can become a catalyst of change in our homes, schools and communities. (No class on Oct 27 - Youth Group hike) (Youth & Children’s Center)
Children (Ages 4 – Grade 6) This fall, our children continue to explore the early stories of Genesis – from God’s creation of the earth, to Noah’s Ark, to the Tower and Babel, and more. Children will participate in dramatic storytelling, engage in scientific discovery, bake or make wonderful creations, and learn what it means to be loved by God. The children’s class is taught by Cathy Lovejoy. (Youth & Children’s Center)
Nursery (Birth – Age 3) Our youngest children enjoy time to play, hear stories, color, and more, with our Lead Caregiver, Alicia Willson, and our trained teen care givers. Children are welcome to come and go between 8:20 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. (Youth & Children’s Center)
Drop-ins are welcome at any time. Comments or questions? Send an email to Cathy Lovejoy at email@example.com. We hope you’ll join us
