Sunday Education
All classes cancelled.
We hope to resume on Sunday, April 5

Formation and Education Opportunities
Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m.
During the season of Lent, Shepherd will host a variety of classes for all ages. We hope you’ll join us.

Heroes of the Faith (Adults – April 5) Our recent history is dotted with significant individuals who stood up amidst difficult times to speak a profound, but not always popular, truth. This class, led by Pastor Dave, will discuss some of those voices, which include: Dorothy Day, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Martin Luther King, Jr., Gandhi, Beyers Naudé, and Clarence Jordan.
Book in Common (Adults – April 5th) Join others who have read Sarah Thebarge’s book, Well. We’ll enjoy a thoughtful discussion and consider the ways it might shift the way we see our faith, the world, and our place in it.

Catalyst (Grades 6-12) Students are invited to join our youth leader, Ashley Neufeld, each Sunday morning for great conversations about faith. How do our actions impact others and our relationships with God? Come hear about how we can become a catalyst of change in our homes, schools and communities.

Spark! (Ages 4 – 5th Grade) Children will be exploring the stories of Holy Week throughout Lent. Together, they will read, play, act, create, and explore what these important last days of Jesus mean for our Christian faith. Cathy Lovejoy teaches the children’s class.
