Mission Programs

“I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me a drink.  I was a stranger and you received me in your homes, naked and you clothed me.  I was sick and you took care of me.”  Matthew 25:35

We believe the natural outgrowth of discipleship is the giving of oneself.  We see our community of faith as a gathering of individuals empowered to do the specific ministries to which God has called each of them.  We believe that God is calling us to expand into ministries that can be lived out in our places of work, our homes, our community and throughout the world.  We are committed to reaching out and serving those outside our church.  We do this by sharing our facilities and by active involvement with groups in our community.

We join other churches in housing and feeding the homeless year round.  During the previous six months over 100 members of our church cooked, served, entertained and hosted.  If you would like to be involved with this ministry, please call the church office 916.652.4851.
